Champions of The Round Table

Picture
Alabama and Gerogia State have agreed to play two days earlier (Thursday, Nov. 18) so Bama can prepare a full week, instead of the short week they were facing before the Iron Bowl this season.

So, does Star Jackson and his move to Georgia State have anything to do with this generous gesture of moving this game to Thursday? I think this...I know that it sure didn't hurt relations between Bill Curry and Nick Saban, when Star Jackson made his choice with Nick Saban's blessing to transfer to Ga. St.. Star Jackson is not chopped liver, he's a fine player, and a good young man. Bill Curry is fortunate to have him on the roster. You tell me? RTR

I just hope nobody else throws anymore bricks at ole Bill. I think Star Jackson starts for GSU and does very well in the process. He has been coached by some of the best in the business for the last 2 years and I am sure Ole Bill was thrilled to get Star. It should be a fun game for all on a Thursday night. RTR

I believe this game will be for the 2nd string D & O to play. Saban might start some of the starters for a very short time. But he will pull them just about as quick as they went in. It will give them good playing time for 2011 season. This way the starters can focus on the next week for Auburn. Which means you can bet that they will be ready this year for the Iron Bowl. Nick Saban also learned how Chizik works, & you don't fool Saban 2 years in a row on anything. It will another get Iron Bowl this year & I can't wait for another Auburn beat down like we did in 2008 when it was 36-0. RTR
